Spectra Dew 350 Breast Pump review May 2020

This is a product from Korea. Mainly parts can be replaced or service in Malaysia but for this machine I dont think u will need to maintain it often. This is heavy duty and hospital grade as claimed by Spectra.

This pump has suction level of 350 mmhg. Thus the name Dew 350. I used this for my first son. 7 years ago. And sold it soon when my son only want direct latch. Around when he was 2 years old.

This time when I have my second son. I do not know what breast pump to get. It was great pump as i remembered so I get this exact same breast pump again. At second hand price. It was good. Provide good suction but not that great. Plus you only get level of suction and you can have the new pump nowadays that comes with stimulation, massage, expression. This pump only has expression.

My verdict: if you have budget and need a simple but heavy duty pump that can last a while. I would recommend it. But due to its size too big and quite heavy to me its abit bulky and can only use it at home. The sound level are not too high it is acceptable.

If you have the budget and needs portability this might not be for you. I just leave it at home as spare pump. The only thing I like it is its low maintenance and can last very very long time.

My first Spectra Dew back in 2013. Was sold in 2016.

The standard size flanges. I dont know what size it is but I dont feel uncomfortable back then and I did produce a lot of milk too. These are the old flanges and I dont think they make it anymore. But I still see this kinda valve selling online.
